Inventory value

In ShopLinkr you can add a purchase price to every product. This gives you instant insight into the value of your inventory, both per product and per warehouse location.

Adding a purchase price to a product

Adding a purchase price is easy and is done from the product screen:

1. Go to Products and open the product you want to edit.

2. Edit the purchase price.

The purchase price is the price you pay to your supplier (excluding VAT). The purchase price applies to the inventory you add from that moment onwards. The inventory already in ShopLinkr keeps the old purchase prices that applied at that time.

Want to overwrite the purchase price? As soon as you change the purchase price, an option appears to overwrite the purchase price on your current inventory.

Inventory value per product

Once a purchase price has been entered, ShopLinkr automatically calculates what your inventory of that product is worth. The formula is simple: inventory value = inventory x purchase price. You see this right away on the product.

Inventory value per location

Do you work with multiple warehouse locations? Then you also see the inventory value of a product per location. This way you know exactly where your inventory is, what the value is per location, and how your inventory is spread across your warehouse.
