Pick location first

The shelf first, the pallet last

ShopLinkr pulls stock from your pick location first. If stock is only left on a bulk location, you can set the order to go to backorder. No needless trips to the top rack.

Location while picking

See exactly where to go

The pick list shows the location next to each product. Your picker walks a logical route and grabs everything for the round in one go.

Move stock

Replenish your pick location from the bulk

Move stock from one location to another in a few clicks. Source location, target location, quantity, done. The move shows up in your stock movements right away.

Bulk assign

Set up your entire warehouse in one go

Through Tools you link multiple products to locations at once. Ideal when starting out or after a reorganization, so you do not have to go product by product.

In real life

Every product a fixed spot

This is what location management looks like on the floor. Everything neatly labelled in its own spot, so anyone can see at a glance where things are.

Pick and bulk

Two kinds of locations, one smart order

Mark your locations as pick or bulk and your picker stays in the spots where the work goes fast. ShopLinkr uses your pick location first, so nobody has to walk to a pallet or high rack.

  • Pick location

The spot your daily picks come from. Easy to reach, at eye level and close to the packing station. ShopLinkr uses this stock first.

  • Bulk location

Bulk stock on pallets or in higher racks, not meant for daily pick work. From here you replenish your pick location once it runs empty.

  • Backorder when bulk only

Turn this on and an order goes to backorder when stock is only left on a bulk location. You replenish the pick location first, then process the order.

Ask your question

How deep does the location hierarchy go?

As deep as your warehouse needs. You create a location and optionally choose a parent location. A common structure is aisle, rack, shelf and bin, possibly with a zone as the top level. You link products to the bottom layer, so your picker can see right away where to go.

What's the difference between a pick location and a bulk location?

A pick location is the spot you pick from daily, usually easy to reach and close to the packing station. A bulk location holds larger quantities on pallets or in tall racks. ShopLinkr takes from the pick location first and only moves on to the bulk location once it's empty. That keeps your warehouse moving without sending pickers to hard-to-reach spots.

What if a product is stored in multiple locations?

No problem. A product can be in several locations at once, for example a few units at the pick location and the rest in bulk. In the product overview you see how many units are in each location, and on the picking list your picker is shown the right location based on the picking order.

Do I also see the location while processing an order?

Yes. On the orders page each line shows the product's location, on the picking list you see where every product is, and in the product overview each location shows how many units are available. Whether you process individual orders or put together a round, your picker knows right away where to go.

How do I move stock from one location to another?

Open the product, click Update stock and choose Move. Select the source location, the destination location and the number of units. Want to move everything? Then turn on the 'Move all stock' toggle. The move appears in the product's stock movements straight away.
