There are 5 standard roles ready to go: management, warehouse, administration, customer service and purchasing. On top of that you can create your own roles and decide, per section, who may view, create, edit or delete.

Invite by email

A colleague joins in a few clicks

Enter the email address, pick a role and click invite. Your colleague gets an email, chooses their own password and logs straight into the same workspace.

QR login for the warehouse

Log in fast at a shared packing station

Warehouse staff scan their personal QR code and type in a four digit pincode. Ideal for packing stations where several people work behind the same computer.

Two factor authentication

An extra lock on your accounts

Enable 2FA per user with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 1Password. Combine it with QR login and you enter your code after the scan for extra peace of mind.

Permissions per section

Four kinds of permissions, exactly the right access

For each section of ShopLinkr, such as orders, products, stock and settings, you decide what a role may do. Combine the permissions into a role that fits your team member's responsibility.

  • View

    The user may look at data but not change anything. Handy for roles that only need to follow along, such as an intern or an external bookkeeper.

  • Create

    The user may add new items within a section. Think of creating a new order, adding a product or recording a supplier.

  • Edit

    The user may change existing data. Think of correcting an address on an order, updating an order or making a stock correction.

  • Delete

    The user may remove items from ShopLinkr for good. You usually grant this right only to roles that need full control.

Does an extra user cost anything?

No. With ShopLinkr you don't pay per user. Whether you work with two people or a team of twenty, your bill stays the same. So feel free to invite everyone who works in your warehouse.

Which default roles does ShopLinkr come with?

Five roles are ready to go: Admin (full access), Warehouse (process orders and update stock), Administration (reports and exports), Customer service (orders and returns) and Purchasing (suppliers and deliveries). You can't change or delete the Admin role, but you can adjust the other default roles however you like.

Can I create roles myself?

Yes. Via Settings > Roles you click Create role, give it a name like Team lead or Intern and tick per section what this role is allowed to do. Or duplicate a default role and adjust it, so you don't have to start from scratch.

Which permissions can you assign per role?

Permissions are grouped per section: orders, products, stock, settings and more. Per section you choose whether a user can view, create, edit or delete. On top of that there are specific permissions, such as processing orders, exporting products or viewing financial insights.

Do two-factor authentication and QR login work together?

Yes. You turn on two-factor authentication per user via Settings > Security, and it works with Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or 1Password. QR login is meant for quickly switching on shared stations. If you have 2FA on, ShopLinkr also asks for the 6-digit code after the QR scan.
