Stock forecasting

See in time when you need to reorder

ShopLinkr looks at your average daily sales and works out how much you need. Your supplier lead time is automatically factored into the advice.

Stock history

Every change traceable per product

For each product you see every sale, pick, return, delivery, correction and count. Complete with old and new stock, location, date and who made the change.

Fictional stock

Hide your stock from competitors

Competitors do not need to see how much you have in stock. With fictional stock your channels show a fixed number instead of your real quantities, without ever selling a product you do not have.

LVB switch

Automatically back to your own warehouse

Running out of LVB stock? ShopLinkr automatically switches the shipping location to your own warehouse, including your lead time.

Fictional stock

Hide your stock from competitors

Some tools show competitors exactly how much stock you have on hand. With fictional stock, ShopLinkr sends a fixed number to your channels instead of your real quantities. Only when your stock drops below a set threshold does ShopLinkr automatically switch to the real quantities, so you never sell a product you do not have.

Example with fictional 400 and threshold 20

  • Actual in warehouse

    850

    On your channels

    400

  • Actual in warehouse

    350

    On your channels

    400

  • Actual in warehouse

    15

    On your channels

    15

Above the threshold, ShopLinkr shows the fictional number. Below the threshold, it automatically switches to the real quantities.

Types of stock

Three types of stock, one clear overview

In ShopLinkr we work with three types of stock so you know exactly what is available, what is already reserved and what is actually on your shelf.

  • Available stock

What you can still sell. This is the number we send to your sales channels.

  • Reserved stock

Stock already committed to orders that still need to be processed.

  • Total stock

Available + reserved. This is the number that is actually on the shelf.

Frequently asked questions

The questions that keep coming up, clearly answered

Ask your question

Can I see why a product's stock level changed?

Yes. Every product has a complete stock history that logs each movement: sales, picks, returns, deliveries, manual corrections and stock counts. For every movement you can see the reason, the old and new quantity, the location, the date and who made the change.

Can competitors see how much stock I have?

Not if you use fictional stock. You set a fixed number (for example 400) plus a threshold (for example 20). As long as your real stock stays above the threshold, ShopLinkr sends the fictional number to your channels. When your stock drops below the threshold, ShopLinkr automatically switches to your actual numbers, so you never sell a product you don't have.

What happens to stock when there's a return?

While processing a return, you tick per item whether it should go back into stock and pick the location. ShopLinkr updates the stock and syncs the change straight to the linked channel.
