With the function stock counts, you can easily check and update the physical inventory in your warehouse. This ensures that the stock in the system always matches what you actually have in stock.
This helps prevent errors during picking, gives you more control over your inventory, and ensures that your inventory remains reliable.
Important
To properly use the stock counts in ShopLinkr, it is important that you have set up the locations correctly.
What can you do with it?
With the stock count function, you can:
Scan or select products by location
Compare physical quantities with the stock in ShopLinkr
Automatically connect locations to products that are not yet connected
Track down missing products (possibly incorrectly booked or relocated)
Directly correct the stock with one click
How does it work?
1. Start a count
Go to Products → Stock counts and click on "Start stock Count"
2. Scan a location
Select or scan a location you want to count. Then you will see all the products that are supposed to be at that location.
3. Scan the products
Select or scan all the products you encounter at the location. Also include products you wouldn’t expect to find there.
Check the count
Once you have counted all the products, you can check the count. You will now see what will happen and whether the count matches what is in ShopLinkr.
Is the count correct? Great! You can now click on save and continue to the next product.
Is there a difference? No worries, as soon as you click on update stock, the stock levels in ShopLinkr will be adjusted, and the stock will be correct in the system again.
This way, you continue until you have counted all locations/zones.
Your stock is now accurate again at the counted locations, and you can rely on it. You don't have to say "no" to customers anymore, and they will no longer be disappointed.
