With this feature, you can create locations where your products are stored in your warehouse. This helps you pick faster and more efficiently and provides a clear overview of your inventory.
What are warehouse locations?
A warehouse location is a physical spot in your warehouse where a product is stored. Think, for example, of:
Aisle A – Rack 1 – Shelf 3 – Bin 2
Aisle B – Rack 2 – Shelf 1 – Bin 12
Aisle 4 – Rack D – Shelf 2 – Compartment 1
In ShopLinkr, you can create these locations yourself and connect products to them.
Support for hierarchical locations
You can create a hierarchy of locations. This means that you can first create an aisle, and within that, racks, and within those again, bins or shelves.
Example structure:
This hierarchy makes it easy to logically organize your warehouse, especially if you have many products.
Connecting products to locations
Once you have created your locations, you can easily connect products to a specific spot. You do this:
Via the product overview
While counting inventory
Via the location itself
You can also place multiple products at the same location, or one product in multiple locations (for example, if you have a lot of stock and store it in different places).
Where can you see the locations?
The location information is visible in different places in ShopLinkr:
On the orders page
You immediately see where you can find each product during order picking. In the pick list
During picking, you see the location for each product, so you know exactly where to be.With each product
You can see where a particular product is located, useful for inventory management or if you need to check something quickly.
Why is this useful?
By working with warehouse locations:
You pick faster and in a structured way
You avoid searching in your warehouse
You maintain an overview of your inventory
You process orders more efficiently
You have peace and control in your logistics process
