# The dashboard

> An overview of all the information you'll find on the dashboard.

When you log in to ShopLinkr, you land on the dashboard. Here you can see at a glance how your business is doing. The dashboard is made up of two parts: the **main overview** and the **insights**.

### Main overview

At the top of the dashboard you'll see five cards with today's most important figures:

| Card              | Description                                                                        |
| ----------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Open orders**   | Number of orders that still need to be processed (status: Open, Picking or Picked) |
| **Orders today**  | Number of orders received today                                                    |
| **Open returns**  | Number of returns that still need to be processed                                  |
| **Returns today** | Number of returns reported today                                                   |
| **Revenue today** | Total revenue for today (excluding VAT)                                            |

### Insights

Below the main overview you'll find detailed insights for a period of your choosing. Every figure is compared with the previous period, so you can immediately see whether you're growing or declining.

#### Statistics

| Statistic               | Description                                 |
| ----------------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| **Number of orders**    | How many orders came in                     |
| **Units sold**          | The number of products sold                 |
| **Average order value** | The average value per order                 |
| **Return rate**         | The percentage of orders that were returned |
| **Revenue (incl. VAT)** | Your total revenue including VAT            |
| **Revenue (excl. VAT)** | Your total revenue excluding VAT            |
| **Profit**              | Your profit after deducting costs           |
| **Profit margin**       | Your profit margin as a percentage          |
