# Importing and exporting products

> Import products in bulk via CSV or export your product data.

The import and export feature lets you add products in bulk or download your product data.

### Importing products

With the import feature you can update products in bulk using a CSV file.

#### How do you import products?

1. Go to **Products** and click **Import products**.

2. Upload your CSV file.

3. Choose which field to match your products on: **Product ID** or **EAN code**. This determines how ShopLinkr recognizes and updates existing products.

4. Map the columns from your file to the right product fields in ShopLinkr. The system tries to do this automatically based on the column names.

5. Review the summary. If any errors are found, they are shown so you can correct them.

6. Click **Save** to start the import.

The import is processed in the background and can take a few minutes, depending on the number of products in your CSV file.

### Exporting products

Go to **Products** and click **Export products**. Click **Export** to start the export. You will receive an email once the export is ready, containing a CSV file with all your products.
