# Connecting WooCommerce

> How the connection between WooCommerce and ShopLinkr works

Follow the steps below to connect your WooCommerce webshop to ShopLinkr. To load all products correctly, every product in WooCommerce needs an SKU code.

## Before you start

**If you use the "EAN for WooCommerce" plugin**, you can also enter the EAN codes in WooCommerce. If a product has no EAN code, the SKU field is used as the EAN code in ShopLinkr by default.

**Please note:** to make sure the "EAN for WooCommerce" plugin works properly with ShopLinkr, check the following:

1. In your WordPress environment, go to "WooCommerce" > "Settings" > "EAN" > "General".

2. Scroll all the way down and make sure the following 2 options are turned on. Do not forget to click "Save changes". This is important, otherwise your products and orders will not be imported correctly.

## Connecting WooCommerce

1. In ShopLinkr, go to "Settings" > "Sales channels" and click "Connect sales channel".

2. Select "WooCommerce" as the type.

3. Under "WooCommerce url", enter the url of your WooCommerce website, for example: https\://shoplinkr.com. Please note: some websites require www in combination with https, this differs per WooCommerce site.

4. Click "Connect".

5. If you are not logged in yet, log in now with the admin account of your WordPress environment.

6. Click "Approve".

All information is imported and the stock is updated to the stock in ShopLinkr, provided the product already exists.

**From this point on, ShopLinkr is the only place where you need to adjust your stock.**
