# Change your password

> Update your password in a few simple steps.

It is a good idea to change your password regularly. In ShopLinkr you can do this easily through your security settings.

### How to change your password

1. Go to **Settings > Security**.

2. In the **Change password** section, start by entering your current password.

3. Next, enter your new password.

4. Repeat your new password to confirm it.

5. Click **Update**.

Your password has now been changed. The next time you log in, use your new password.

### Password requirements

Your new password must meet the following requirements:

- At least 8 characters long

- Contains both uppercase and lowercase letters

### Forgot your password?

Have you forgotten your password? On the login screen you can click "Forgot password" to receive a reset link.
